Invest Ottawa is offering an upcoming hybrid event focused on helping Canadian exporters and importers understand the impacts of Brexit.

The United Kingdom, Canada’s first trading partner in Europe, left the European Union on January 1st, 2021. This workshop will examine the impact of Brexit for U.K. businesses and for Canadian companies dealing with the U.K. and the E.U., both from an exporter and an importer perspective, focusing on the trade in goods.

About the speaker:

Following a + 30-year international logistics career, Christian Sivière started a Montréal-based import-export consultancy in 2010, Solimpex, active in two areas: consulting to help SMEs grow internationally, and training on the regulatory, customs and logistics aspects of Importing and Exporting, Free Trade Agreements and Supply Chain Optimization. Christian is a subject matter expert who lectures and delivers seminars for trade organizations across Canada, provides customized training, and publishes industry articles.
