You are invited to participate in the roundtable discussion on the trade promotion policies and instruments that support women in all their diversity in the European Union and Canada. Since 2018, European Union and Canada have aspired to make the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) be more inclusive for underrepresented entrepreneurs. In this context both trade partners have collaborated closely to enhance opportunities for women, encompassing workers, businesswomen, and entrepreneurs, to fully utilize the benefits of CETA. Through policy exchanges, stakeholder engagement, and participation in multilateral forums, both EU and Canada showcase leadership in advocating for gender-inclusive trade policies. This event is an opportunity to learn more about the work on inclusive trade on both side of the Atlantic, best practice and lessons learnt.
