Global Affairs Canada: Virtual Trade Mission to France

  • Monday, March 29, 2021

Are you a Canadian company or an Accelerator/Incubator looking to connect with global buyers to grow your business? You cannot miss this opportunity.

Sign up today to explore transatlantic export opportunities and partnerships with France.

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is organizing a Virtual Trade Mission to France. The focus is on building the green economy - connecting you with global business opportunities and B2B matchmaking sessions to grow your business.  Participation is free, and interested business owners and entrepreneurs have until March 12 to register. Register today to participate in the virtual trade mission.

The Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade, the Honourable Mary Ng, will lead a virtual trade mission and she will be joined by Isabelle Hudon, Canada’s Ambassador to France, for a series of dynamic and interactive sessions that will expand participants’ knowledge of France’s vibrant green economy and existing avenues for transatlantic trade.

For registration, you can choose from 1 of the 2 available streams:

  • Exploratory Stream (March 29): Companies will learn how to leverage advantages and opportunities available in France through the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
  • Exporter Stream (March 29 to April 1, inclusive, and April 8): Canadian export-ready small and medium-sized enterprises with potential in the French market will hear from experts in their sector; pre-qualified companies will additionally benefit from business connections facilitated by trade commissioners in France.

Opportunities provided by the virtual trade mission exist in several sectors, with focus on:

  • sustainable mobility
  • hydrogen
  • responsible goods and sustainable consumption
  • IT solutions for green recovery
  • consumer goods
