USMCA/T-MEC/CUSMA (the Agreement between the United States of America, the United Mexican States, and Canada) recognizes the fundamental role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as engines of the North American economy. This series of virtual events is a collaboration between the OWIT chapters in the USMCA/ T-MEC/CUSMA region - Orange County, Los Angeles, Mexico, Ottawa, and Toronto - and the Los Angeles SBDC. The series will focus on the topic of recovery and resilience in the international trade community and will highlight the voice of women in trade.
The April 5th event will focus on customs challenges, including best practices, lessons learned over the past two years, and solutions moving forward. Attendees will hear the perspectives of customs agencies in Mexico, the U.S., and Canada, as well as women in trade entrepreneurs from the three countries.
