Virtual Trade Mission to Africa for Canadian women-owned and women-led businesses

This is the first Virtual Trade Mission to Africa for women entrepreneurs in renewable energy and the ICT sectors. Global Affairs Canada (GAC), in collaboration with the Canada-Africa Chamber of Commerce will lead a delegation of 20 to 25 Canadian women-owned and women-led companies to network and discuss business opportunities with decision makers and government officials from Botswana, Senegal, South Africa, and Cote d'Ivoire. 

In an effort to deepen the participant's understanding of the African market, the virtual mission program will include: 
  1. A training session on international business for Canadian entrepreneurs 
  2. Country presentations (4 per market) on the local business environment and opportunities in market 

Following the conclusion of the virtual trade mission, Business to Business (B2B) meetings will be setup.
