Our hearts go out to our friends, family, and colleagues in India. COVID-19 has been devastating for India in 2021 and the pandemic has afflicted the country with which Canadians share so many connections. APF Canada and C-IBC will monitor conditions in India to ensure that the final format of the First Canadian Women-only Business Mission to India – whether in-person, hybrid, or fully virtual – protects the health and safety of the delegation, staff, and event partners.
APF Canada, in partnership with the Canada-India Business Council (C-IBC) and with strong support from the public and private sectors, will lead the First Canadian Women-only Business Mission to India, in early March 2022.
This mission to Bengaluru, the technology capital of India, is themed ‘Growing Smarter’ and will focus on education, green solutions, agri-tech, and health tech to spotlight the innovations Canadian women entrepreneurs bring to these sectors. The fifth mission in APF Canada’s Women’s Business Missions to Asia series, this unique event will bring together Canadian women entrepreneurs with businesses in India to promote gender inclusive trade, support SMEs, and catalyze international partnerships between Canadian companies and foreign markets.
