The City of Toronto is offering a new series of free webinars for businesses interested in expanding into new export markets.

Diversifying to Export Markets 101
Tuesday, April 21st at 11:00am

This intro webinar will help Toronto businesses understand the importance of trade diversification, navigate tariffs, use trade agreements, and access government support in a changing international landscape.

Introduction to Free Trade Agreements (FTAs)
Wednesday, May 27th at 1:30pm

This webinar will help participants understand FTAs and learn how they can reduce tariffs and facilitate access to global markets. Applicable to many industries, FTAs lower barriers that typically make exporting challenging.

First Steps in Exporting 101
Wednesday, March 10th at 11:00am
Tuesday, June 9th at 10:00am

This webinar will help businesses learn export basics, market selection, compliance, and supports to start selling globally. Discover Ontario's First Steps in Exporting program, which is designed to assist companies new to exporting to the U.S. and international markets.

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) is hosting its annual convention and trade show from Tuesday, April 28, to Thursday April 30, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, in Toronto, Ontario.

For the second consecutive year, PROMPERU is proud to support the CPMA trade show and convention as a focus country sponsor. To celebrate this partnership, a delegation of ten leading Peruvian exporters will meet with Canadian buyers to showcase a premium variety of commodities, including:

Fruits: Blueberries, Grapes, Citrus, Avocados, and Tropical Fruits.
Vegetables: Asparagus, Onions, Pumpkins, Ginger, and more.
