Amesika Baeta

Account Manager, SME Solutions, Export Development Canada


Amesika Baëta joined Export Development Canada’s (EDC) Small Business Solutions team in April 2014. Amesika assists SME companies become more internationally competitive, by providing market intel, risk mitigation solutions and working capital enhancement, in partnership with their financial institution. 


Prior to EDC, she worked at I.E.Canada, Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters as Director of Member Relations & Development and the U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Consulate in Toronto as a Trade Associate. From 2013-2014, she was President of the Toronto Chapter of Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), a worldwide network of chapters that promote women doing business internationally, by providing networking opportunities, export education and global business contacts. She remains an active member and a strong advocate for the organization.


She has a Master's degree from the University of Manchester, UK in International Development and an Honours Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto in International Relations with minors in Political Science and Art History.


 

Sarina Ahuja

Commercial Account Manager, RBC

  

Sarina Ahuja is a Commercial Account Manager with RBC Royal Bank, managing a portfolio of business clients in the supply chain industry. She works closely with business owners to gain a deep understanding of the business, providing industry trends and financial advice and solutions addressing business needs and goals.


Prior to RBC Royal Bank, Sarina worked with Air Canada in Toronto and Montreal, holding a variety of management roles in Marketing, Revenue Management, Pricing and Sales Planning.


Sarina is an MBA candidate (2016) at the Richard Ivey School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) from the University of Toronto. She holds the PMP (Project Management Professional) designation and Certificate in General Accounting, Level One, from the University of Toronto.



Shadi Moukhaiber 

Director, Business Development, INAC Services Limited


Currently Director, Business Development of INAC and part-time Financial Manager, advising Entrepreneurs, with a focus on Financial Management and Operations.  


Prior to this, Shadi was the Operations Manager of a Wal-Mart Super centre, which generated over $80,000,000 in annual sales.  Shadi is an Entrepreneur at hart, having owned and managed multiple business ventures in the residential and commercial contracting space, along with Franchise ownership.  


Shadi’s first out of college job was in banking, whereby he spent 14 years as a Commercial and Retail banker, providing Entrepreneurs with over $300 million in financing and capital to assist in the growth of their businesses



Bruno Persichilli

Executive Vice President, Pycap Corporation


Currently Managing Partner, Executive Vice President of Pycap Corporation Private Equity, and Managing Partner of Newcastle Wealth Inc., specializing in wealth management services and real estate investments.   

Bruno has been involved in the institutional lending and investment industry for over 15 years.  Prior to being a co-founder of Pycap and Newcastle Wealth, Bruno has worked for TD Canada Trust, the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) and has also been a managing partner in a Toronto based residential and commercial lending mortgage brokerage.   

Over the years, Bruno has assisted in arranging over $350 million of financing solutions for various companies in the start-up, developing, mature and transition stages of their businesses.  Aside from investment and lending competencies, Bruno also provides expertise in business advisory services, real estate and wealth management.
