The Business Women in International Trade (BWIT) Program is a program of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) that supports Canadian women entrepreneurs as they pursue opportunities abroad at Global Affairs Canada. BWIT helps women-owned businesses expand their global footprint through international trade by providing targeted products and services.

BWIT is leading a dual city business trade missions this coming June to Atlanta and Orlando. These trade missions will provide exclusive access to business opportunities in the United States through high-calibre networking, panel and workshop sessions, mentoring, inspiring speakers and potential B2B matchmaking.

Women in Business

North America Summit, Atlanta, Georgia (June 15-17, 2016)

Women-owned businesses in innovative technologies across multiple sectors from Canada, the United States and Mexico will participate in this unique event to find opportunities for exporting, technology partnerships, funding and integration into global value chain pipelines.

Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) National Conference and Business Fair

Orlando, Florida (June 20-23, 2016)
WBENC is the world’s largest supplier diversity conference, offering opportunities to network with procurement specialists from corporations, multinationals and government agencies, as well as women business leaders from over 18 countries. The Government of Canada organizes programming on the margins such as a meet and greet, networking reception and assistance finding contacts in the market.
