On Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 12:00 noon EST, OWIT International is pleased to offer this webinar series in partnership with the Middle East & North Africa Consultants Association (MENACA) discussing international business topics specifically related to the Middle East & North Africa. This first in the series focuses on how Morocco is Building a Business Platform for Africa and will cover:


  • Morocco is meeting the challenges of the 21st century through a complex strategy integrating economic, social, and political reforms. 
  • With the continued downturn in the Euro Zone economies, its primary market, Morocco is staking its future growth on Africa. King Mohammed VI has undertaken a highly visible series of visits to African countries to promote agreements that support economic cooperation and integration. 
  • After South Africa, Morocco is the largest African investor in Africa and provides humanitarian and educational assistance to many Francophone countries. 
  • While the prospects are not certain, Morocco is building for the future by taking critical steps today building on the vision of Morocco as part of Africa and the Arab world.

Jean AbiNader

Jean AbiNader has spent his career as a management professional, directing organizations and advising companies, countries, and associations on management, marketing, and communications strategies. His international work experience includes designing and directing workforce development programs, strategic marketing campaigns, trade and investment promotion programs, and policy advocacy. He works with corporate and government clients from the US, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.


As the Founder/Principal of Jean AbiNader, International Advisory Services, Jean focuses on growth and messaging strategies for companies, associations, and organizations in challenging domestic and international environments. His training and mentoring programs include leadership enrichment, managing change, strategic communications, negotiating across cultures, cross-cultural dynamics, global project management, and a variety of communication skills.


At the Moroccan American Center (MAC), a group of three NGO's that promote relations between Morocco and the United States, he is Executive Director of the Moroccan American Trade & Investment Center (MATIC). 


He previously served as head of operations for a major US news company and as senior executive in a number of trade and political advocacy organizations. 


Jean is a well-known communicator on international policy, human capital, and business issues. He has led a graduate seminar on global marketing issues at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and conducts a senior level negotiations course for the Executive MBA program of Al-Akhawayn University's campus in Casablanca. 


Mr. AbiNader has a master's degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh where he also completed post-graduate study in Organizational Communications. He lives in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area.
