Diana is an achievement-oriented graduate student, motivated by challenge and fully engaged to new and diverse experiences. Her main interests are international trade, data analytics/science, and project management.
Her past experiences include the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism (Colombia), in which she organized seminars oriented to citizens, companies, and educational institutions, and assisted people in acquiring information about the Ministry and its various services on a daily basis. Her past experience at the Canadian Food Exporters Association gave her exposure to the dynamics behind international tradeshows. Finally, she spent five years working for a fast-paced international trade company serving customers across North and South America, Europe and Asia.
Diana has also dedicated her efforts to the not-for-profit sector, which has provided her with an insightful and exciting career. She has been collaborating on a volunteer basis with Trade Partners, TFO Canada, and The Empire Club of Canada.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management at Los Andes University (Colombia), and graduated with honours in Global Business Management from Centennial College (Toronto).
Diana is currently pursuing a Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence at the Smith School of Business, as well as being part of OWIT's events committee for the annual gala awards, AGM, seminars and workshops.
